Route & General Observations

Recent signs of slabs and point releases around Douglas today and while doing a quick ski cut near the end of a small cornice before the highpoint that separates Heavenly from West Bowl. Top layers released and propagated both on the most current storm snow layer (18cm deep) as well as the one a few days prior (36cm deep). Decided to stay in more mild angle terrain as steeper pitches appear more ready to release at a weak point.
