Dug a pit at the bottom of Wedding Bowl. Got an ECTP 10 20cm down on the Christmas Day freezing rain crust. We also got an ECTP 22 35cm down. Opted not to ski Wedding Bowl and stuck to slopes less than 30°.

Saw 2 older avalanches in Upper Wedding Bowl. 1 was triggered by a cornice. All of Lower Fred Meyer Bowl had also slid in the last week or so. The entire creek bottom (where most people transition) was full of debris. I took pictures but they didn't come out due to flat light.
Calm winds, increasing clouds.
5" of powder on top of the breakable Christmas crust.
