Avalanche: Douglas Island

Route & General Observations

Skinned up Troy, beautiful conditions down low, approaching the summit wind effects became evident and we noticed a recent avalanche on a west facing slope at 2800’. Cross loading and a thin snowpack appeared to be contributing factors.
