The third skier in a group of 4 remotely triggered a D1 windslab avalanche. Prior to the run the group identified the rollover as a potentially wind loaded area and agreed to avoid it. We all went to the skier’s right. The third skier through remotely triggered the slide from approximately 20 feet away. She considered straight lining it and throwing a backflip over the moving debris but instead decided to stop skiing and let the slide run out of energy before assessing her next move.
