Route & General Observations

Skied Stewart and Troy.
Good news:
1) Prius made it up Eaglecrest road no problem.
2) Yesterday’s deluge finished off with about two inches of snow on top of the crust.
3) The new snow bonded well with the base surface, which was still not frozen below about 2500′.
4) Low angle terrain that didn’t require weighting edges skied quite well.
5) Up high, wind deposited snow in deeper patches that skied substantially better than the adjacent rime.
That’s it, all good news.
