Observation: Juneau Mainland

While walking Basin road heard three successive “whoomps” of snow collapse/cornice fall between 11:20 and 11:30am, though could not see where the exact source – it appeared to be directly up from end of Basin road at top of snow slide gulch somewhere. Visibility was hampered by low ceiling and trees, and we didn’t see snow making it to lower levels.
