Observation: Douglas Island

From the Showboat start we dropped the other side of the ridge. Nothing moving unless you ski cut a convex rollover, then, shooting cracks 50-100′ and 6″-10″ soft slab, which broke up immediately. Not enough mass to shake loose layers beneath the new snow. We skied the shorter Boat Show- skiers right, next, without the ski cuts and had no movement, except harmless sluff. Best snow still in Rescue Meadows.
