Skinned up to the top of Moller. The cold arctic high appears to be hobbling the diurnal warming cycle despite the powerful sun. We still saw ample evidence of afternoon warming and wetting of the upper snowpack on sunward slopes especially those more south westerly. Several mid-wind storm slides that have refrozen. Pockets of colder snow hid in the most protected areas but the wind effect of the last few days lingers forming a very skiable crust in some spots and treachery in others.
