Route & General Observations

Toured up Heavenly to get some eyeballs on all the surrounding terrain and dug a pit. Had to restart a few times as the corn snow was so hot (25cm deep) that it kept falling apart during setup. At the end I was able to perform an extended column test and got an ECTN at 18 hits 25cm from the surface followed by an ECTP at 25 hits on the same layer. On either side of the layer you had very fresh looking corn snow with an ice layer separating the two. Below the ice layer the snowpack still appeared quite hot temperature wise with how loose and saturated it was. Ground was hit at 100cm down.
