Route & General Observations

Toured up Bunny Toe Pass and on all aspects of Fish Creek Knob. Observed an old avalanche in upper Fred’s and surface hoar on all aspects, including exposed ridges.

Avalanche Details

Observed an old avalanche off the North side of Ben Stewart in Upper Fred Meyer Bowl. Appears to be at least a day or two old and the result of a cornice fall.

Light winds out of the Southeast at 5 gusting to 15 in the afternoon.

Snow surface

2-3” of dry powder on top of a supportable crust. Surface hoar on all aspects.
