Observation: Douglas Island

Went into Wedding Bowl w high hopes of finding snow like Saturday. Observed significant winds and wind transport. In Wedding Bowl we triggered a small 6” deep wind slab near the ridge on the windward slope. On the ridge of Fish Creek Knob we found wind loaded pockets that released easily while skinning. Below the ridge line we found good skiing and observed stable snow.
