Observation: Douglas Island

Eaglecrest Ridge above Black Bear Chair. 2700’ N aspect 23 degree slope. HS 46 cm. Bottom 15 cm was old snow from earlier in the week that was rained on. The rest was all new precipitation particles. Only broken shears about 15 cm down in quick hand pit.
Slarvy skiing up high today. Shallow and delicate skiing today. With a few more feet things will improve.
