Observation: Douglas Island

Utilized the squirrel trail on the way up, easy skinning this time of year. Skied face and then exited on the road for the lower half. Supportable crust with low density fluff on the upper half. Did not notice any whumfing, cracks or settling while traveling. Isolated thin wind slabs up high and surface hoar noticed. Let’s see how this upcoming snowfall sets us up. Winter is here!
