Observation: Douglas Island

Dug quick pits thru wedding bowl up track . Uniformly 30-36 cm new snow below fog/rain crust. Well bonded to January rain/sleet crust which was found to be quite rough in both quick pits and ECT pit at map marker. ECT 30+, ECT #2 30+. Lower slopes of Dirty S having more friable crust/better pow turns. Snow not sloughing with any signifigance.
