Observation: Douglas Island

Up Porcupine through the Trail Gnome Switchbacks, up BunnyToe Pass. Steady rain and flakes. No slides or debris visible on steeper aspects of Wedding Bowl, or North Bowl. Glide cracks large and small on steeper faces. Icy glazing on snow surface and wet spring like snow. All slides moved onto low angle slopes. Wedding Bowl slide started in creek waterfall, BunnyToe slides started in the Bowl descending to the North from the Plaque on top of Ben Stewart. 140 cm of snow at the top of BunnyToe. 2 icy layers still detectable. About a meter of dense moist snow (finger) on top of half a meter of even more dense snow. (Pencil)
