Backside of pitman’s ridge, in the sun, out of the wind.

Weather

Partly sunny, moderate wind.

Snow surface

Generally pleasant fluff with wind crust and slab near ridge tops. Surface guitar hoar in sheltered areas.

Snowpack

Dug during a casual transition at 2300' on a south aspect. 60cm depth
5cm light pow
10cm somewhat light
5cm crust
Remainder wet heavy snowball snow to ground.
Ct5 5cm, Ct16 20cm below crust.
