Route & General Observations

3 pits dug by the Gang of 7. Reported results. ECT on 20 & 26 about 1/2 meter down on melt freeze crust. Good snow in Wedding bowl below the upper step. Occasional surface crust. Sunny side of FCK, (Fish Creek Knob) 3-6″ of pow on top of carveable raincrust. Pretty good skiing. Town side of Sunny side FCK: giant drifts of windboard. Upper peaks appeared to have been scoured by wind (Ben Stewart) or slid (North of Ben Stewart.)

In the upper cup of Wedding bowl and North of Ben Stewart along ridgeline toward Meek. Shallow debris similar to slides on Hi-East.

Snow surface

Variable by elevation and exposure. Higher elevations wind effected, exposed raincrust in places, Lower protected elevations great powder, a few sites had 1/4 of hoarfrost growth.
