Route & General Observations

Ascending main skin track. Dug hand pit and jumped on a small test slope just above collection meadow, no movement, noted buried crust.

Midway up Troy dug a pit on the rollover next to the ice-covered rock. This is ~10m downslope from where the skin track traverses the top of the rollover (which may have compacted things?).
ECT-p13
Snow depth: 97 cm with some drifting. Was 90 cm deep just above the pit.
Angle: 35
West facing at 2500’

Column popped 50cm down and slid on a fine grained thin layer on top of a 3-4cm thick ice crust.
