Skinned up Bunny Toe Pass to the top of Fred Meyer Bowl. Winds were calm in that area with little evidence of wind transport at that elevation. We dug at the top for Fred Meyer Bowl and found a weak layer on top of a crust down 22cm and another one down 31cm. Neither of which propagated (ECTN15 down 22cm and ECTN down 31cm). Ski penetration was 10cm of light dry snow. Later we went to the summit of Ben Stewart with hopes to ski Croppley’s. Small wind slabs were forming on the ridges and few natural D1 wind slabs avalanches were seen. The top of Croppleys was wind effected and had a 3″ wind slab so we exited out Wedding Bowl.
