Route & General Observations

-50′ below ridge line, north aspect, 2,300ft. Light wind transport.
-Moderately stout rain crust from evening of 2/16 with weak facets below crust then faceting through entire new snow before cold spell.
-Skiing in the trees was OK by Juneau standards. No signs instability today. Ski cuts on roll-overs non-reactive. No energy in the snowpack (yet).
